Mission Statement

Cubs Softball mission is to provide our players with an encouraging environment to develop their softball skills, life skills, and passion for the game.

Our Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Brownton Cubs Softball to strive for an enjoyable and developmental experience for our players.   Each player will be treated fairly and respectfully.  All players and coaches are a valuable part of the team.  Cubs softball emphasizes the importance of skill development, teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.

Team Placement Guidelines

• Teams will consist of a minimum of 10 players.

• Players will be organized by grade level, exceptions may occur due to amount of players needed to fill a team roster. 

• Players will be placed by date of birth after grade level per league guidelines and may be placed on another team due to position needs when it doesn’t negatively impact the original team.

• Players may be double rostered to ensure a full team for league games and tournaments with the expectation to play first with your own team per league rules.

• Previous teams/teammates/siblings do NOT determine current placement.

• Tier I and Tier II teams will be determined after rosters have been established.
